Pasha Bleasdell, who starred in many iconic hip-hop music videos, has died at the age of 38, her longtime friend Director X shared on Wednesday. Bleasdell worked on the videos for Nelly’s “Hot in Herre.” , Sean Paul’s “Gimme the Light”, 50 Cent’s “PIMP” and many more

In a post on her Instagram page, X revealed that she was suffering from a brain tumor.

“We lost a friend yesterday,” he wrote in the statement. “Pasha Bleasdell died of a brain tumor on June 4, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. If you made videos in the 2000s or were there to watch them, you know Pasha. We caught up with her working on the set of “Where I Want To Be” by Donnell Jones [and] from there, we put her in the mix. It was a wild ride from that point on.

He continued, “I put her in a million videos and spent that much time hanging out. She was always genuine and cool. Never brought drama to the whole of life. You never know when the last time you speak to someone will be the last time you speak. I hold my memories of you with love. Rest in Power Pasha from January 24, 1984 to June 4, 2022.”

Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, Pusha-T, Jermaine Dupri and more expressed their condolences in the post’s comments.

“This is terrible!!! Rest easy Queen Pasha,” Busta wrote.
