Dove Cameron Shocks the 2022 Billboard Music Awards With THIS ‘Outrageous’ Dress

At the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, Dove Cameron’s crimson dress really brought the color “red” to the red carpet. Some reviewers claimed it was one of the most eye-catching Ashlyn dresses they had ever seen on a woman.

It wasn’t just the color red against her milky white skin, but the fact that it was one of the looks that featured the most skin at this event. But again, it wasn’t rude or sexual, which adds to the magic. It was just provocative in more ways than one.

In this provocative strapless design, it wasn’t her cleavage or navel that was visible. The fit went a little lower than that, thanks to a long, curvy cutout at the chest. A barely noticeable sheer bustier sat underneathgiving the whole an unexpected touch of color.

A red and nude tulle maxi skirt with delicate pleats completed the head-turning top.

Red dresses are a common choice for the red carpet, but Cameron’s style stands out for its uniqueness. It’s from Ashlyn’s “Capturing the Now” Spring 2022 collection. To draw attention to the delicately draped pattern, Cameron parted her hair down the center and let it fall over her shoulders.

She was certainly dressed to impress. Anitta and Becky G are among the other distinguished guests. This year’s Billboard Music Awards is sure to be hot, thanks in part to host Diddy and performers like Megan Thee Stallion, Travis Scott and Machine Gun Kelly who have already been revealed.

The singer was also pretty bold in speaking exclusively to E! News of the success of his single “Boyfriend,” which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart earlier this month. She hasn’t minced her words about who she wants to collaborate with in the future.

I really think I’m still very slow to catch up with any type of success that I’m experiencing. So, I feel like I’ve internalized it and haven’t believed it’s really happening yet. So I’m really moved. I am truly honored to be here today,” she says.

To find out which other finalists she’d like to work with, we asked Dove, who recently covered Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”.

“I’m definitely a huge Lil Nas fan,” she told Live From E!. “I’m a big fan of Adele, Doja Cat, everyone. I think it’s a great time for music. I would be really honored to collaborate with someone here tonight.”
