The 2021 MOBO Music Awards took place on December 5 at the Coventry Building Society Arena, as part of an extravagant live show. Last year’s awards were held virtually, with hosts Chunkz and Maya Jama, and performances by Headie One, Ms. Banks and Kojey Radical. Performances at the 2021 ceremony included the likes of Bree Track, Pa Salieu, Ghetts, Tems and ENNY. With nominations submitted by Henrie Kwushuethe rewards – hosted by Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Munya Chawawa – saw newcomer Central Cee lead the charge with their wins for Best Newcomer and Best Drill Band, alongside Best International Band and Best African Music Group: Wizkid.
